   Please show your support for gay rights by NOT supporting the Salvation Army this holiday season.

   My two cents: let the Salvation Army do their fucking thing. They have threatened to close down all their NYC soup kitchens when legislation was in the works to protect unwed domestic partners. Think what they would do if there was legislation protecting same-sex partners. We need to ignore them. Yeah, what they are doing is really shitty, it’s backwards and archaic, but what they can do is even worse and unthinkable. Some people live off of what the Salvation Army gives them, feeds them, and I think that those people’s lives means a bit more then a little of our freedom and dignity.

   f*ck them. give to one of the many charity organizations that don’t openly hate LGBT people and still manage to help those in need.
